I was looking for games with yokai, Paper Mario-esque 2d sprite-on-3D environment as inspo for my platformer featuring those elements and an Oni MC, and wow, here it all is on one package with a really cute game loop and concept!

I really love the flight gauge (the concept, the art), the MC's animations, the onibi lighting the way, and the particle effect guides for the delivery destinations and the package locations. The little thieves, too!

I did find I dearly wanted a similar guidepost on the shop, to orient myself better and to quickly be able to return there, but I'm not sure if that would take some of the challenge away from orienting myself in the dark.

Really inspired to learn further after playing this, love it!

Just noticed the pun in the title. Incredible.
